LA TRIESTE DEI WULZ
More than 150 photos taken by the most famous of Triestine photographers make it possible for the first time to evaluate as a whole the work of one of the major Italian photographic studios, as well as to cover the evolution of the aesthetic search for the new reproduction technique. The documentary-type pictures by the head of the family, Giuseppe, the manipulations of a pictorial nature in the portrait photography of Carlo, and the search for an innovative visual language of Wanda and Marion, are the principal guidelines of the photographic language perfected within the atelier. The provincial capital of the Giulia region, an important cultural theatre at the beginning of the century, and its personages are photographed in original manner by the three generations of this family of photographers.
