IThis multimedial product seeks to provide the great public - and not just Florentine - through the presentation of significant iconographic documents, with an unusual itinerary for the provincial capital of Tuscany, and its changes and monuments of an unalterable beauty. "Florence. Permanences and Metamorphoses" narrates a thousand years of the city's town-planning history through pictures, many of them hitherto unpublished: historic photographic material, know up until now only to scholar, and aerial views of the city from new camera angles. A photographic campaign realised especially by Alinari, explores the city's current reality.
