Travel photography is the theme dealt with in this volume by Filiberto Pittini: an important synthesis of his enthusiastic research work in the ?‘shapes of the landscape?’. One of the last figures of an ?‘amateur?’ photographer, in the 19th-century meaning, Pittini dedicated his photographic attention to Nature as a work of art, to its ?‘signs?’ and surfaces, pointing out traces, points, lines, shadows of this reality.
