A retrospective on the professional and artistic activities, carried out in more than sixty years, of the photographer from Leghorn, Bruno Miniati. A period of history of the city of Leghorn which re-emerges from the portraits of reigning sovereigns, politicians, the military, actors, but also in the testimonies of lacerating urban devastation caused by war events. Considered as a whole, this volume presents the opportunity to discover the work and extraordinary artistic quality of one of the many artists lacking in fame but who contributed to the definition of a history of Italian photography.
