One hundred photos of women taken between 1860 and 1910, chosen according to a subtle game of analogies, supported by cuts and enlargements, in which the female portrait realised by the Fratelli Alinari documents both an historic period and a certain image of women linked to it, but also the subjectivity and sensitivity of the eye of those who realised these pictures.
