Fifteen photographers emerging in the world of European photography realised within the space of one month - March 1996 - twenty years after the earthquake, a photographic campaign dedicated to the territory of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, to gather together their pictures in this volume that commemorates that tragic event. Each author dedicated himself to one theme, analysing the territory from the mountains to the plain, to the city, and entrusting to his own sensitive gaze the intellectual and poetic interpretation of the ?“northeast territories?”. A series of live and enthusiastic testimonies of a land that has been able to overcome with pride the drama of the seismic destruction.
