IMAGES FROM MODENA
A tribute to the city of Modena, realised by means of a photographic journey mostly unpublished and unknown in any case to many people, which ranges from the second half of the 19th century to the first decades of the 20th century. Details of art and architecture are combined with vivid images of the everyday that is capable of stigmatising the characteristics of the city and several moments of its history: the result is a dissolute 19th-century Modena - of which the demolishing of the wall along what used to be Viale Margherita - as well as the ancient dockyard with the last barges, before interment in the 1930s - is the symbolic representation.
