VENETIAN GRAPHICS AT AMBROSIAN LIBRARY
The systematic study of the Venetian drawings in the Ambrosian Library in Milan, which range from the end of the 15th century to all of the 17th century, is an important contribution to the knowledge of Venetian graphics. The 109 drawings, mostly unpublished, are all reproduced and subjected to a stringent critical examination, always sustained by a vast bibliographic knowledge. In addition, the research has led to numerous acknowledgements.
