Architecture, landscapes and personages of Egypt during the second half of the 19th century, just as they were interpreted by the Venetian photographer Antonio Beato. In search of the mythical places in archaeological Egypt, through the pictures of one of the most famous authors of the history of photography, (re)discovering among the sun-drenched ruins of temples, along the fertile banks of the Nile, that poetry and that mysterious charm that made Egypt one of the destinations of the Grand Tours of the Mediterranean countries.
