The ?“Mille Miglia?” is unquestionably one of the most fascinating car-racing competitions: the unusual formula that re-proposed a sort of ?“Giro d?’Italia?” for automobiles, the always captivating and at times dramatic events, the enthralling personalities of the great drivers, have made of it a sports?’ myth. Celebrated by Federico Fellini in ?‘Amacord?’, lauded in a wonderful song by Lucio Dalla, still today - although no longer competitive in form - the ?“Mille Miglia?” continues to keep alive the enthusiasm of millions of sportsmen and enthusiasts of the Golden Age of automobile racing.
