The rise, the flowering, and the decline of the Roman Empire, in a CD-ROM that illustrates the history, the art, and the civilization of ancient Rome. An extensive section, featuring an interactive itinerary illustrated with about 200 images, is dedicated to chronology. Thirteen single-subject sections describe various aspects of Roman civilization, from warfare to daily life, from architecture to the great personalities of the Roman world. Graphic interfaces provide access to two reading levels. The Roman Empire described and illustrated in all its facets through its full territorial extension: from Hadrian's Wall to the cities of Tunisia, Algeria, Spain and Jordan.
