TUSCANY
The landscape in Tuscany is extremely varied, and even short stretches provide surprising changes. The Apennines constitute the North-east borderline. Some of the highest peaks always seem to be covered with snow, but the white color is due to the marble they contain. Many rivers flow the valleys lying among these mountains. Half-way between mountains and valleys there are the many hills, some of which wuite unique, as the "crete".The long coastline is sandy and to the south it becomes rocky. In Tuscany there are many protected parks, and there exist a series of tracks and refuges for the visitors that want to go for outings in the mountains or visit the quarries. Furthermore, Tuscany hosts many of the most important cities of art. Enjoy it with us in this wonderful cd-rom.
