FEMALE FIGURE WITH RIBBON
The decoration of this ornamental plate rapresents a female figure taken in profile like the Reinassance use. The frame to this portrait is created by a double ribbon translated in geometrical shapes, peculiar characteristic to florentine Renaissance that preveleged the rules of geometry to the fantasy decoration. This is the reproduction of an original plate now kept in the Museum of Archeology and Ceramics of Montelupo Fiorentino.
