GUIDORICCIO DA FOGLIANO
This pannel reproduces Simone Martini fresco situated in Palazzo Comunale in Siena. The subject is the celebration of Guidoriccio da Fogliano, knight for the Repubblica of Siena. This work, dating 1330, is one of the main frescos depicted by the tuscan artist and represents the taste of senese gothic. It is realized in a firwood panel (19 mm). Aged using cracking technique. Invisible hook for hanging. Borders with uneven finish.
