FLORENTINE FRAME
Everyone knows that the value of a painting is given also by its frame: the more a painting is important and the more carefully the frame has to be chosen. It primarily has to match with the painting and link it to the style of the house, but it must be a precious object, too. It is a big task that florentine artisans know well. And even in this case the expert hand of the master created a little work of art, a classic florentine frame. The deep blue sets off with an inner golden border (the effect is achieved by using brass leaf), the absolutely most refined match. The decoration is worked with traditional Florentine relief designs and a thin outer border; carved to give a "woven" effect. Understated and beautiful.
