At the end of the 50's, travelers, antique dealres, collectionists and wises used to commision a Roman print house coleccions of etchings that then formed complete volumes, different in quantity and matters, that began to spread at the end of the 50's and that from the 70's got the name Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae.Buonarroti House has one of the Speculum formed by 84 pieces: illustrated subjects go from ancient and modern buildings (many of which by Michelangelo) to Roman statues and reliefs.
